The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) finally paid part of Stephen Keshi
outstanding Salaries.
Super Eagle Coach, Stephen Keshi cried out few days ago concerning his
non-payment of seven to eight months salaries that worth N35m. The coach
described his non-payment of his seven months salaries as “The lowest point” of
his career.
If you miss that story you can read it here (SHOCKER: NFA owed Keshi
7-months Salaries).
Stephen Keshi said, “The lowest point of my career is working and not
being paid for seven to eight months. I have never had this kind of experience
before.”
However, the NFF Media Director, Ademola Olajire confirmed that NFF have
paid part of the outstanding salaries.
NFF Medical Director, Ademola Olajire told kickoffNigeria that, “The
Coach has been paid part of his outstanding salary, and the federation is
working hard to pay him the rest as soon as it is possible to do so,”
Another top NFF official who pleaded anonymity said that the money paid
to the coach was just two months.
He said, “We have paid him two months salaries, and we hope to clear the
rest before the end of the year.”
Thank God the coach cried out the other time maybe they will still be
holding his salaries. I pray they pay him the rest in time.
