Genevieve Nnaji

It’s not so surprising that
Nollywood superstar, Genevieve Nnaji tops the first MOMO special list of rich and
single Nollywood actresses. This year alone, the actress has amassed quite a
handful in properties with the acquisition of properties in highbrow Lekki area
of Lagos State for her parents and recently acquiring a multimillion naira home
in the elitist Park View Estate, Ikoyi, Lagos, Nigeria.
The Half of a sun star had always stood out as the industry’s most wealthy actress and she stamped her authority by nabbing endorsement deals with top brands that include Lux-though it was brief- Range Rover, MUD cosmetics and Luna milk.
Investigations revealed that Genevieve smiles home with between N25m and N30m for endorsements and raked in over N80m in 2012 and a little higher in 2013 while she charges between N3m and N5m for movie roles-one of the reasons she’s sparingly seen in several Nollywood flicks in recent time.
Her earnings alone undoubtedly put her at the top of this list.
Kate Henshaw
Kate Henshaw is the next on the
list with an amazing lists of endorsement deals.
After her endorsement deal with Glo ended, the Calabar actress became the toast
of several brands and multi-million dollars companies, who have come to
appreciate her for a scandal free life and career.
The fitness star changed her worth by signing a mouth watering deal with Promassidor
for the company’s new offing, Onga seasoning.
She instantly became the catch for homely and affectionate brands-from the
seeming success of Onga sales-and got more juicy deals from Samsung as the face
of the company’s home appliance in Nigeria and became one of the three well
paid judges of the Nigeria’s Got Talent reality TV show.
Kate didn’t stop at that but intensified her efforts with few movie appearances
and renewed her endorsement deal with Samsung-she was made the face of
Samsung Home Appliance West Africa- as well as the second season of Nigeria’s
Got Talent.
Her book might not be a best seller but her much anticipated fitness video is
expected to further heighten her wealth in coming months.
Kate raked in over N20m for her endorsements in 2012 and a little more in 2013
and charges between N800k and N1m for movie roles.

From movie roles to several endorsements, Funke Akindele has made her way into this list. Leading Nollywood stars on the payroll of top Nigerian telecommunication firm, Glo, Funke Akindele joined this list after her marriage ended over irreconcilable differences.
In her kitty are endorsements for Vita
Foam, Jobberman, Glo and Lagos State Inland Revenue Services.
Her source of income also include events compere. Funke’s investment in
properties is encouraging with over three buildings to her estate. She raked
over N15million in endorsements between 2012 and 2013 and charges between N750k
and N1m for movie roles.
Rita Dominic

Rita
Dominic comes in fourth with a commendable luxury that has placed her tops
amongst young, single and rich Nollywood actress around.
The Mbaise, Imo State beauty has few endorsements to her credit but has earned her wealth from several movie roles that has left her as distinct as her birth.
Rita’s debut as a producer with the berth of her Audrey Silver Company
catapulted her riches as well as popularity in Nigeria and among Nigerians and
Africans in diaspora.
Her co-produced movie, The Meeting-the first from The Audrey Silver
Company-has become a blessing in disguise for her fame and fortune.
She has not amassed so much from endorsement aside her expired deal with Glo
but she was touted to have netted over N5m on her movie and charges between
N800k and N1m for movie roles between 2012 and
2013.

Not
many agreed that she’s worth several millions but this single mother of one has
managed to make the list despite all odds. She has been dropped as a Glo
ambassador but has since gotten few brand endorsements that garnered some
millions of Naira into her kitty.
Her film company has been able to work
alongside Emem Isong’s Royal Art Academy and produced few
flicks and a running TV series, Catwalq. Monalisa charges between
N800k and N1m for movie roles and has been able to rake in over N5m between
2012 and 2013.
