Danasabe
Ibrahim, 47, a member of staff of Union Bank Plc with three others namely; Salihu
Mahmoud, Friday Isaiah and Samuel Azaaior , were on Tuesday
ordered by Justice
Lateef Lawal-Akapo of an Ikeja High Court to be remanded in Kirikiri Prison for
allegedly stealing N2.05bn from the
bank.
The
accused persons are facing three counts charges of conspiracy to defraud,
unauthorised access to computer and unauthorised modification of computer data.
The
EFCC Counsel, Mr Kayode Oni, alleged that the accused persons had conspired
with others (still at large) to commit the offences on January 9.
Ibrahim
revealed his address as Union Bank PLC, Jos market branch while Isaiah and
Azaaior also live at Fuduna and Rukabu areas of Jos, respectively but Mahmoud
lives at 339, Borno Way, Alagomeji, Yaba, Lagos.
They
are to remain in prison pending the hearing of their bail applications fixed
for November 26.
