A member of the first National Parliament after Independence in 1960, Solomon Lar died in the early hours of yesterday 9^th October in US Hospital.

Solomon Lar, who was also the former Governor of Plateau State (1979-1983) and the pioneer Chairman of the ruling democratic party, PDP died after protracted illness yesterday (Wednesday).
