According to the Nigeria's Minister of Health, Onyebuchi Chukwu’s spokesperson, Dan Nwomeh, in a statement has revealed that the First Consultant Hospital in Obalende, Lagos State, where Nigeria’s first Ebola case was treated will receive N4 million from ANAP foundation.
According to the statement, the founder of ANAP, Atedo Peterside informed the ministry of health that all private hospitals affected by the outbreak would receive hundred thousand Naira (N100, 000) per bed space and that First Consultant Hospital will be the first to benefit from the foundation’s donation. The hospital will receive four million Naira (N4m) since it has 40 bed spaces.
Ebola affecting countries have been trying their best to stop the further spread of the virus.
According reports from South Africa, the country has issued a travel ban for non-citizens from Ebola-hit countries including - Liberia, Guinea and Sierra Leone.
