Governor Aregbesola Put smile on Osun workers’ faces with car loans and 100% 13th month salary

The Trade Union Congress TUC and Nigeria Labour Congress NLC, has lauded the gesture of  Gov. Rauf Aregbesola of Osun , who on Friday approved the payment of 100 per cent 13th month basic salary to workers in the State. This gesture has been described as first of its kind since the creation of the State of Osun.

 The governor also announced the distribution of vehicle refurbishing loans to not less than 9,435 workers in the state which according to TUC and NLC has never been recorded in the history of the state.
According to the Governor, he revealed that it is part of his agenda to put smile on workers’ faces and make life easy for them. In his own word;

“We have virtually touched every sector of the society in our bid to live by our words. We have touched every sphere significantly in pursuance of our Six-point Integral Action Plan.

“What we are doing today is spectacular and unusual again. It is unprecedented to give vehicle refurbishing loans to many beneficiaries.

“It is our desire to ensure that our workers, both at the state and local government levels, are given the best so that we can work together to get the dividends of democracy”, he said.
