Hull City Forward, Omatsone “Sona” Aluko, is doing everything possible to
keepfit and playing for his club in order to get Eagles recall.
The 24-year-old player is arming to get Nigeria recall so that he can
join other team mates to 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
SonaAluko played for England under-16, under-17, under-18 and under-19
and made his Super Eagle debut in 2009.
Aluko last appearance for Nigeria was against Rwanda
during the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON qualifiers under Stephen Keshi. He
was included in a pre-selection for the 2013 AFCON but had to renounce
because of injury.
Although,
injuries have prevented SonaAluko from being a regular for Nigeria National
team, he is now eyeing eagle recall.
Hull City’s SoneAluko told BBC Sport that, “If things go my way this season I can still break
into the team for Brazil definitely,”
The
former England youth international player, Aluko, that switched allegiances
four years ago is no doubt looking forward to get eagle recall.
He
believes focusing on his career and maintaining form will make him achieve his
dream.
“If
I maintain my form then I will have a good case for selection.” He said.
Now the guy is back and fit, do you think Keshi will recall him back?
