Below are pictures from the scene of
yesterday’s plane crash in Lagos State. The plane belonging to associated
airlines carrying the corpse of Ondo state former governor Olusegun
Agagu and twenty other passengers crash-landed shortly after takeoff. The casket containing the body of Olusegun
Kokumo Agagu, was recovered almost intact (See picture below).
However,
the burial of the late Governor will hold today as planned. The chairman of People
Democratic Party, PDP in Ondo state, Ebenezer Alabi said the burial will hold
today. He said, “We just consulted with the family and have
decided to go ahead with the burial.
“More so, the son of the former governor
survived and the son-in-law survived. There was no scratch on the casket.”
