The
Former Manchester United Coach, Sir Alex Ferguson who was in charge of Man United
for the past twenty-six years before his retirement at the end of last season
was honour.
The
most successful British Manager of all-time and former Manchester Manager, Sir
Alex Ferguson was honoured as a street was named after him.
The
former Waters Reach Street near the club’s Old Trafford home was rename SIR
ALEX FARGUSON STREET (See in the picture above).
Sir
Alex Ferguson, 71, coach Manchester United for the period of 26-years and
during his time as Manchester United Manager, he won 2 Champions Leagues, 5 FA
Cups and 13 Premier League titles.
Sir
Alex Ferguson is the third person to receive such honour from the Trafford
council.
To
double his honour, he was also honoured with the traditional honorary freedom
of the Borough of Trafford.
I
think he deserved to be honoured! Sir Ferguson won twenty (20) major trophies
for Manchester United.
Sir
Alex Ferguson in his reaction to the award bestowed on him said, it’s a
privilege and an honour to have a road named after me, you don’t expect these
things in life and it encapsulates the 26 years.”
There
are rumours already round the street that the former Man U coach, Sir Alex
Ferguson is coming back to coach united but there is no substantial evidence of
his return. Will Ferguson come back as the Manager of Manchester United again?
Well,
let me say a big congratulation to my Coach and the holder of history as I used
to call him. Congratulations!!!
Congratulations to the former United Coach.
