Wow! Spain Treats First Case of Ebola; Spanish Priest & Nun Test Positive

Can we say the Ebola virus is fast spreading? It has spread to Europe.  A Spanish priest infected with the virus in Liberia arrived in Madrid for treatment today. 75 year old Miguel Pajares (see picture above) had been working as a missionary in Liberia when he tested positive for
Ebola at the San Jose de Monrovia Hospital in Monrovia. A medically-equipped military jet was sent to Liberia yesterday to repatriate Pajares.

Meanwhile, a Spanish nun, Paciencia Melgar working in Equatorial Guinea has also tested +ve to Ebola & will also be repatriated to Spain.

Both of them belonged to a Catholic humanitarian group that runs hospitals around the world and had been helping to treat patients infected with the virus when they were infected.
