Gang of seven armed robbers yesterday Sunday March 2 invaded The Vine Branch Church in Yemetu, Ibadan, Oyo state.
According to eyewitnesses, the robbery gang stormed the church around 12noon while the service was going on and after offering and tithes had been collected. The robbers told the congregation to lie on the floor and robbed in an operation that lasted 15 minutes. They took away Tithes/Offering, phones and other items.
The resident Pastor, Sola Kolade confirmed the incident and said some
members sustained injuries. A member of the church who witnessed the
incident said a police officer was killed in the operation but I can't
confirm that...
Where are we going in this country or what is the country turning to? Armed rubbers in the house of God... sign of the end time! May God deliver us from evil.
